It gives me clear visibility into risks for both my organization and our vendors in a way that's easy to understand and remediate. Continuous monitoring and real-time alerts help us stay ahead of potential threats without extra effort. I like that the ratings are simple to grasp but backed with detailed insights we can use to improve our security posture. It turns complex cybersecurity data into actionable intelligence which makes decision making much easier. The platform gives us confidence in managing third party risk and strengthens trust with our partners.
What I like most about Security Scorecard is that they are continuously adding features and functionality to their platform, and while we may not ever use all of it, it's great to see that they are improving their platform.
The ability to provide real-time visibility into our cybersecurity posture and that of our vendors. The platform is very easy to use and intuitive, with automatic alerts and detailed scoring across multiple risk factors. platform is effective for continuous monitoring of company posture and third party risk management. It's a strategic asset that helps us to prioritize remediation efforts and to communicate cyber risk clearly to internal or external stakeholders. The functionality to send questionnaires to third parties is very important and useful, the possibility to personalise questionnaires helps us to setup specific assessments based on the supplier service provided and automatically evaluate the answer comparing the score rating and issue reported by the platform.
While the platform is extremely valuable, i have noticed a few areas for improvement. At times it generates false positives and flags issues that have already been remediated or assets that do not belong to us. As it requires manual validation. The scoring system reacts very quickly to negative findings, but positive improvements after remediation often take longer to reflect in the score, even after the fix is confirmed. A faster update cycle for positive changes would make the experience even better.
A couple items I dislike about the product or service are: 1. Vendors with incidents (30 Days) widget on the main Vendor Risk Management tab on the dashboard is not clickable, you have to select a portfolio first before it is. 2. Not being able to assign selections of the questionnaires to specific people.

Filtering And Investigative Tools Useful Despite Occasional Slow Incident Alerts
SSC is a good company with a good product although I'd give it 3.55 rather than 4 if I could. It's a really useful 'headline' tool, good for giving a 'tipper' on potential issues. Can be slow to alert on actual incidents and not sure about the value/use of some of its inputs some of the time. Good customer support. We do not use the wider TPRM features so this review does not include them.
