The desktop app is very stable and rarely crashes unnecessarily. As I mentioned earlier, the ability to edit and create vector objects makes it much easier to illustrate and edit the vectors needed for an application's images without having to use other software. Learning to use the symbols and components is truly intuitive. The tool for reverting to historical file versions has also saved me many times.
Works very well on Mac, the UI is familiar and intuitive (very apple like). Responisve prototypes (resizing) is very helpful for the different layouts we like to test.
Generally speaking, I like the way their tools and pages are organized, it makes me perform my work more efficiently. I love their symbols and clonning functionalities, by using symbols I can use the same portion of design across multiple pages, and make changes to them without affecting the original symbol. Their clonning functionality is also really helpful when I need to create a large list of items or a table with many rows.
The web version for collaboration is often buggy and crashes frequently. The prototyping animations seem limited to me, and the handoff to developers is also limited, as the way it delivers the document isn't very useful to them. Therefore, you always have to resort to different plugins for other platforms, and these plugins tend to be updated frequently, which is a nuisance during the workflow.
collaboration isn't live, which is a real time suck for us (if we weren't on a team of multiple people it would be fine otherwise). It's mac only, and as the team grows, Sketch won't be sustainable because of the collaboration of non-designers (the teammates who use macs). We've had issues with our plug ins for sketch, and I can see us needing to use more in the future which worries me.
It's not something that I dislike at all but their Mac application consumes too much memory when dealing with big files, causing the app to crash unexpectedly. However, it has improved with the years.
