It's easy to use and has a pretty standard user interface. Any user with the least technical expertise can master API automation using ReadyAPI tool.

Cost, ease of use,

It works well alongside its sister tools like SoapUI, sharing a similar and familiar UI. It has good security testing capabilities, too.

Too much CPU and Memory usage causing the application to slow down or requiring TestEngine restart in CI/CD pipeline.

Complexity of old licensing model

A bit of a learning curve, but most people in the industry have been working with it so it's become a standard. Cost is a little high. Training and documentation could be better, but it's not bad.
