If we have to pick best three features, the object recognition capability even in complex GUI components with excellent customization/support from the team, easy and seamless integration with your CI and CD pipelines and finally the rich reporting metrics it brings to the table for project/product managers are few notable features of the product
FrogLogic Support has been very good. They are responsive and have fixed a few issues that we encountered. They provided intermediate releases to address some of the issues. Additionally, they are open to suggestions and have implemented some of our suggestions.
Squish IDE has component picker option which is very useful for verification also for creation of test cases we can use various languages such as Python, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript etc.
The learning curve for smaller teams/organization can be heavy, as is license fee and infrastructure required to make the squish test setup's. With soo many variations in mobile OS's supported, it becomes difficult for squish to support every variant of mobile OS's though majority of them are similar and hence it can be checked for specific variant supported.
Some of the GUI implementation could be more robust. They work for the most part, but sometimes, there are specific ways that it assumes is being used. More robust capabilities when reading spreadsheets. Should allow for reading of values generated by a formula and multiple tab sheets from a file. Adding new objects to the object map could be improved.
The captured component's has symbolic naming and renaming of these objects is very hard and difficult. Manual interaction is required for this.

Some of the concepts and methodologies of using their libraries / API took a bit of investigation to fully understand and utilize. The squish tool is best tool for GUI automation.It supports wide range of scripting for test scripts.It supports for auto recording of test scripts which is very useful and in turn saves the time in automation.Object identification and verification can be easily done through squish.
