In my personal experience, it is one of the best tools to use for detecting vulnerabilities, compliance violations and identifying cost saving opportunities.
I like the deep kubernetes visibilty and runtime threat detection. The integration with container registries and CI pipelines works well.
The capabilities of the product significantly outperforms its competitors.
There are no Sysdig native options, so you will need to have custom built tools to: - maintain a large number of teams and users. - synchronize across multiple environments/accounts
The interface can feel dense when reviewing alerts. Policy tuning requires effort to reduce noise.
It needs better capabilities with respect to exporting alerts to a ticketing solution. Not all core functionalities of the platform can create tickets for the security teams automatically.

Looking back over our journey since first deploying Sysdig Secure, we've come a very long way in terms of surfacing our vulnerability/threat data from having no central overview - and also with proactive vulnerability detections before our application code ever ships to real infrastructure. The rep has also been an ace to have on-hand - super knowledgeable in all aspects of the product and very good at communicating our feature requests/bug reports back up the chain to be actioned by engineers.
