the products output is highly customisable and able to fit our needs

What I like most is the ability to see all my cloud service providers, accounts and overall security on one dashboard, without having to search much. With a quick glance, I can easily establish what issue to tackle next. Whether it be vulnerability findings, misconfigurations, or compliance.

There are a few gaps, for example, SAP certification. Often the BASIS team rejects findings due to Tenable not being a certified SAP partner.

overpromised and under delivered on some features

The initial setup can be a bit time-consuming and quite honestly challenging. It also has a high learning curve when it comes to policy creation. It's only a bit easier if you've used other Tenable products before. Lastly, it is expensive.
