What I like the most is the clarity and focus it provides. I know what has been done and what I need to prioritize. For a task that never really ends, like compliance, having everything tracked and organized is essential to making good progress.
The trust center is good for our customers.
Helping me to prepare Soc 2 audits which is very tedious and a good UI showing dashboards and reports to track compliance status.
I miss having ready-made templates for internal audits. These still have to be created manually, which takes time. Having templates to start from would make it easier to make things immediately useable.
This product is sold on the promise that it automates your compliance requirements. It doesn't automate anything, you have to do everything and then it monitors very prescriptive information. generates a huge amount of noise. This is a very heavy lift product to implement and maintain. It's an absolute compliance nightmare, I don't believe it's made my job easier, if anything it's made it harder. New features are typically pay walled.
I do not have any dislikes yet, but if I could say one then, UI looks a bit old? It's not an issue. Simple is the best

Vanta's automated evidence collection and AI-assisted Trust Center cut our SOC2 & ISO 27001 prep time by over half. Support is knowledgable and quick, but hidden add-on fees and only partial environment coverage keep it from earning 5 stars in my opinion
