Vectra has very impressive detection capabilities which have been demonstrated to us in our own environment by the team, the ongoing support has also been top notch with monthly meetings scheduled with our technical account manager who is extremely knowledgeable. Lastly, the platform has had some recent revisions and revamps which make it very easy to use with fantastic functionality, I particularly like the pre-built weekly threat hunts you can run.
Scalability, ease of deployment of sensors, risk-based classifications of accounts and hosts
It generates less noise, it offers friendly interface, the pricing its better compared to other solutions, capabilities of deployment can vary from onprem to vm. Deliveres option to certify yourself, good customer service. Cannot say nothing bad.
We have not had any major issues since I joined last year, when we switched to the new cloud based platform there was some initial downtime issues however they were swiftly resolved and the backend security functionality was still active we just couldn't access the portal.
The MDR service could perform deeper analysis and cross-check their facts (IP locations, etc) before escalating. Communication from MDR could be better. Requested analyses related to RCAs on missed detections were a little underwhelming.
It lacks IPV6 visibility right now, but check this info i might be not updated yet.
