The tool is easy to use and quickly provides metrics and insights that are actionable
Detections are brought front and centre to the UI with the possibility of alerting and suggested remediation. Machine learning capabilities mean that detections are constantly kept up to date. Data is easy to access from the UI even when carrying out deep-dives on particular assets.
Some of the best features of the product are the real-time network traffic analysis. The easy and quick detection of nefarious activity on your network, and overall classification of data, devices, and user behavior.
It has become more difficult to negotiate on renewals and purchases since the company was acquired by private equity a few years ago. We are also concerned about slower product development.
Multiple appliances are required to support a single platform. Regularly changing priorities in regard to focus - there was previously a sole security focus but now Network Performance Monitoring has been brought back into available products. Configuration changes are not always straightforward and although thorough, the documentation doesn't always guide you through the process step-by-step.
The complexity of the multiple menu. However, the hunt exercises are great for learning to navigate. Another dislike is I wish there was an endpoint agent to have a better view into high value systems.
