Overall, this is a good product, but only recently has been innovating and still requires heavy tuning in order to filter out scanning and typical traffic. We have had the product for ~7+ years and this is still a monthly/daily effort. At times it feels like we are the test subjects, and the features aren't fully functional or operational before pushed out.

High Detection Quality Praised Amid Concerns Over Interface and Configuration Flexibility
My overall experience with Extrahop RevealX has been really good. Its a solid network tool to get visibility into what's actually happening on the network, and it has helped us catch things we would have missed otherwise. The reason I rated it high is for its high quality detections and it does a good job of surfacing things that matter and helps with the investigations. We use the NDR module and have found that the environment is highly intuitive to use and surfaces actionable security insights to our SOC via detections and also allows for deep investigation via records and asset information. The products work as described and have intuitive user interfaces as well as extensive APIs. The teams that we interact with at ExtraHop do an excellent job of listening to our needs and issues and addressing them in a reasonable time. Stress testing highlights strong visibility, Lateral movement and signature detection excels
ExtraHop has one of the strongest network detection and response platforms on the market. The visibility we get is high quality in signature-based detections as well as identifying lateral movement, credential misuse and ransomware activity just to name a few. We put it through a stress test with a Purple Team activity that showcased its value.
