AD integration, secure, stability, and straightforward for users.
The video is clean and functional, I'm still learning how to use it.
Support, prompt security updates, works well, has lots of options.
1. When turning off privacy masking, it does it for all the masks on all cameras rather than the one camera needed to uncover. 2. When unmasking a camera, there is not an option to keep unmasked indefinitely. In a prison environment, there are designated cells that may or may not need masking based on who is in the cell. If it's a suicide watch inmate, then video needs to be monitored 24/7 and unmasked. If it's an inmate just needed a timeout for a couple days, then privacy is needed with privacy masking. Just need a turn on turn off for a particular camera and not affect All cameras and keeps that state and doesn't revert back after 2 hours or when the implementer/authorized user logs out of XProtect. The only way I can see to get around this is to have the Authorized user log into the camera directly and set a privacy mask, which is more work for them and isn't ideal for them having an admin login to the camera. 3. At the client login, Computer is a little confusing to people. They think it is their computers IP address. Maybe Video Server IP or Hostname would be less confusing. 4. At the client login, have an option with to add some legal verbiage to warn people about unauthorized access, using other people passwords, etc.
I don't like that I can't put multiple NVR's on one page and choose which feeds to watch.
Seems to have buggy updates whenever a new major version comes out. Have to get the hotfixes installed to get things to settle back down.
