I like how this service has many great features that help businesses to assess the security of their environments. I especially liked their ability to automatically detect vulnerabilities, their ability to make custom prompts, their ability to test multiple prompts in parallel, and the price.
Easy integration with existing Zscaler cloud setup. Helpful reports for identifying risky user activity. Good visibility into AI and web usage behavior. Centralized console is easy to access. Regular updates from vendor side.
The prebuilt testing probes cover many categories. The fact that they are continuously updated is a huge plus. AI is advancing fast, and exploitation techniques are as well. The ability to customize the probes allowed us to define domain/business-specific test cases that better fit our threat model and context.
The thing I dislike the most about this software was its high rate of hallucinations. Although the hallucinations were not as numerous as one may think, they were still numerous enough to warrant me to say to exercise caution when trusting this software in giving you correct results.
Some alerts are difficult to understand at first. Need more documentation for AI-related features. Dashboard can be confusing for new admins. Cost is slightly high for small environments. Policy tuning takes time to get accurate results.
The remediation advice is helpful, but often stays at a high level. Pricing transparency could be better. Connector ecosystem needs improvement.

We brought Zscaler AI Red Teaming as part of a broader push to get our internal AI assistants production-ready without manual security testing.
