Overall Comment:"It's fundamentally the most reliable and easiest to use platform for our team's digital collaboration and file management. The stability of the sync function is what makes it indispensable for my automation team. We rely on the desktop app to manage massive test data sets and performance results, sometimes gigabytes of files. I never have to worry about the data bein out of sync or versioning issues. Also, the real-time collaboration within Docs and sheets is unparalleled in the industry. We handle all of our critical project documentation there, and the seamless co-editing saves us massive amounts of time, completely eliminating the version control headaches we used to have with traditional file sharing. It's secure, always available and integrates perfectly with our automation workflow because we can trust the files are the most current."
Managing our test data and documentation is so incredibly easy. First, the sync feature with the desktop app is fantastic for my team. I can store huge test data sets and performance results, GB's of data and everyone gets the latest version instantly without me having to manually upload anything. Second, the collaboration is the one of the best in the business. We write all our test plans and strategy documents in Google Docs and Sheets, and the real-time co-editing means we never have version control issues with documentation. Plus, the shared security is granular enough that I can give a consultant view-only access to the final UAT report without worrying about them downloading the raw data. It just works, and that reliability is gold
Honestly, finding something to dislike is tough because the collaboration is gold. But if I had to pick one, it would be the way the desktop app handles the file streaming and resource usage. Sometimes the sync feature can be a real hog on my CPU and memory, especially when dealing with those huge test data folders we have.
