"It's Ok For Hospital EMR"
As far as hospital EMR goes, Cerner gets the job done with some mild annoyances here and there. It took me a while to learn how to get the full functionality out of it. I do like how patient notes are stored and how it allows me to access face sheets and print results easily. Cerner does not go out of it's way to make the EMR experience better as it does not offer any solutions to make charting easier. It is also pretty dull to look at and use.

The system is easy to use and intuitive for the end user, support is fast and friendly. Able to access the tabs for EPHI and workflows with ease. Alerts can be built in for provider notifications. Allows for build in links for images from PACS
"Great software for registering patients if you need something simple and reliable "
We use Athena at my place of work for registering and billing patients. Athena is a very reliable software program to use as we very rarely have any downtime or periods where Athena is not working.The software is very easy to use, only took me a an hour or so to learn how to register patients. I also love that there are all kinds of preprogramed forms in there that can be printed out for patient to sign. The layout is great and easy to look. Over all great program, would highly recommend.

Data acquisition and integration went well. Lots of data available for analytics, but limited visualization for end-user exploration and analysis. Platform includes a blend of claims and clinical data.
"Product is good, but issues in beginning and promises not kept did not allow buy in"
They have not produced the results that they promised. We previously had Impact Pro and Impact Intelligence thru Optum and this was supposed to be better. We had to build all new disease denominators and build out a new datamart process. They also didn't adhere to timelines to implement our requests we previously had in the other tools.

Not very good experience. Only go for it which you require too much formatted reports. Version 16 and below were very slow and acted weirdly .But 17 onwards tool gained stability and performance improved. Completely dependent on QlikView Dashboards. Don't have own existence without QVW files. We can make reports in may formats like PDF, HTML and excel. Process can be automated like mail trigger and creating reports for different Values.
