In addition to offering this service from cloud infrastructure located in its own data center, the provider must offer a choice of using a hyperscale public infrastructure as a service (IaaS) provider or an Asian country-specific, large-scale IaaS provider. The infrastructure platform should be located both in a service provider's data center for the cloud-enabled system infrastructure (CESI) platform and in an Asia country for the public IaaS platform. It also requires the use of a standardized deployment across all service provider customers and leverages a single codebase.

The vendor promised expertise to help us integrate our on-prem technology to the AWS cloud so we could have enterprise wide technology platforms. We never talked to anyone at AWS with the technical knowledge promised. We never even talked to anyone at AWS who had even heard of anyone with the promised tech background and skills. Some of the AWS staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. But in the end their main goal was to get us using as much AWS product and solutions as possible. This severely weakened our install and delayed our productivity and migration and ended up costing us a ton of money. AWS staff led us down paths that could not support the design that they had  suggested, causing costly rebuild and technology redesign. Their encryption offerings were particularly troublesome, limited, and unable to function as promised.

It was a really long journey from conception to implementation.  Customer Service is lacking and it seems they are using a rather antiquated system to generate their Customer Order Form which is unable to combine the One Time Charges and Recurring charges for the same item.  There are also quite a few legal documents that refer to each other, but conditions are ambiguous and tend to protect their interest but are unfair to their customer.

From signing of the order form to actual project kick off, they had also failed to meet their delivery obligations, but it could be due to the pandemic with staff decentralised.

The only silver lining to the overall experience is the implementation team that are prompt in resolving the issues we faced.  I will like to commend the Project Manager Sourav especially, who is always prompt in rallying the different teams to assist with fixing the issues.

During project execution phase/DR drill activity got good support from TATA whether it be team alignment or during course of activity.

During initial phases of project readiness there is bit difficulty for making streamline process. Team need to suggest proactively on there own ,how things can be made easier rather than waiting for project/application owner to suggest.

Working with TCL team on cloud services with TAM & Managers is going well. however, when it comes to adopting new technologies requested by customer, they face limitations due to either insufficient resources or strict adherence to their organizational policies.
