The elasticity of resource allocation. It is really useful in cases where the business flows require a raised infrastructure setup only in specific moments in time.
Some of their people were brilliant and very helpful. The cloud does provide help in the fork-lifting aspect.
I like how easy it is to configure and how automatically it adjusts to our needs. The integration with other AWS resources adds to its strength and performance in managing the interaction with the customer.
I sometimes find it difficult to generate a precise cost estimation on the desired setup.
Its expensive for what you get. Everything in the cloud is code. So the learning curve for an organization is immense. (Imagine even your security team, network engineers and front line access management level one people having to take months of scripting training to perform basic functions you can do now with a few clicks). The end game for AWS is not your best solution, but finding ways to get you to use the highest number of AWS products and solutions and settle for them even when they are far below enterprise standards.
One thing that upsets me is the occasional problem with call quality, including delay or a muffled sound, which may affect customer experience in periods of congestion
