My favorite that i like most is the automated provisioning SCIM because it mirrors your AD groups perfectly. When you add a new user to a group in AD 1password automatically invite them to the company account and grants them access to specific vaults they need. One more is the Watchtower security dashboard its focuses on the health of the data. It provides a view of the organization security posture by flagging weak or reused passwords and alert admins if any account credentials have been found in a public data breach.
The user-interface is very minimal and makes it easy to navigate and use. In addition, it's relatively easy to install and documentation is well-organized and robust.
The best feature is the fact that you can setup OTP and MFA. There's a section for your own individual personal passwords, separating from different customers or environments. You can TAG objects, so it's easier to identify when searching It's easy to generate passwords.
The most frustrating is that unlike many modarn tools that connect to AD with the simple API key, 1Password usually requires you to run your own bridge server. Additionally the pricing is significantly higher than competitors.
We really don't like how users experiencing difficulty are not given a great explanation on why there is an error and/or how to go about fixing it in the future. In addition, encryption keys should expire and should not be transferrable beyond an acceptable amount of time.
It's easy to move objects to the wrong category and know where it's moved without access to auditing.

Elite security meet industry usability but raises pricing concerns.
My overall experience as an extension of our Active Directory AD infrastructure has been excellent primarily because it solves the adoption problem that many security tools face. While Microsoft entra ID manages our core enterprise apps, 1password acts as the essential safety net for everything else. Since the 2026 integration of device trust via Kolide it has evolved from a simple vault into a proactive security gatekeeper that ensures only healthy and encrypted devices can access sensitive data. - Senior Technical Lead50M-1B USDIT ServicesReview Source
1Password - An effective, secure password vault
1Password has significantly improved security and operational efficiency within our business. The transition from older password management methods to 1Password was smooth, and the platform underpins secure access. In terms of what worked well: Centralised credential management. All customer and vendor credentials are stored securely in your own instance, eliminating scattered storage of sensitive information in insecure locations such as excel docs. You can use OTP/MFA codes into the logins so no one person is stuck with an MFA code. The notes are useful and the search functions work well if you label items correctly. In terms of what it provides, it does what it says on the tin. One feature that would have been nice is the ability to share a password securely with someone. - CUSTOMER SUPPORT TEAM LEAD<50M USDSoftwareReview Source
Robust Extension Functionality Noted Alongside Lack of Free Personal Tier Offerings
The setup experience was solid, and the browser extension, web app, and Android app all work perfectly as needed so far. The security seems robust and the UI is smooth and intuitive. I like the format of the emergency kit and the emphasis placed on security. One touch I particularly liked is that when 1Password walked me through downloading the Chrome password CSV file is that 1Password reminded me to deactivate online backup for the area where I was downloading the file, to make sure that the file didn't get uploaded to cloud storage. - Data and Analytics Manager50M-1B USDSoftwareReview Source
Multiple Browser Authentication Issues Create Frustrating Experience for Some Users
For us, installing 1Password into our infrastructure was easy, but for users, it was a frustrating experience trying to use it. Many experienced difficulties when it came to logging into multiple browsers. There would be a pop-up asking you to transfer an encryption key, but users say that the browser session that was originally used for SSO had expired weeks ago as they have not logged in since then. - IT SPECIALIST<50M USDConstructionReview Source
