The single sign-on (SSO) integration is the best feature. Being able to click on a tile on my dashboard and instantly get authenticated onto complex tools without re-entering credentials is a huge time saver. I also appreciate the mobile verify app for MFA, and the push notifications are much faster than typing in SMS codes or TOTP tokens when I'm trying to get work done quickly.

Read Full ReviewSetting up the Okta side of SSO is always the same; no matter what the other side of the application looks like, the Okta side is consistent and universal. This speeds up at least half of the setup process, if not more.

Sometimes the session timeouts feel a bit aggressive, forcing me to re-authenticate multiple times a day, though that might be our internal policy rather than an Okta issue. Occasionally, when the verification push notification doesn't arrive immediately due to network lag, the fallback options (like finding the code manually) feel a bit clunky compared to the primary push method.
Read Full ReviewSometimes it is hard to quickly find the app I need to use. I have also noticed that when I filter my apps by ascending order, the filter does not remain when I exit and re enter my dashboard.
Read Full ReviewOn occasion, I've found that the apps that are publicly available in the App Catalog don't work, but I don't know this until after I contact the app's support and they tell me to just use the custom integration method. It seems rather pointless then to have a pre-built app integration in the app catalog if the developer of said app says not to use it. It's difficult to get all the Shadow IT apps accounted for in Okta. People will sign up for any app under the sun and only tell IT that they need Okta SSO after they've been using it for a while. It makes standardization difficult if you don't know about all the apps up front.
