Server virtualization includes a range of technologies that abstract an underlying infrastructure layer (networking, storage and compute [including memory]). In doing so, it improves hardware utilization, workload portability, automation and availability. Server virtualization is most often associated with hypervisor-based server workloads running in data center environments on industry-standard servers. In reality, server virtualization incorporates multiple technologies, spans locations from public cloud to edge, and supports initiatives for both cloud-native transformation and infrastructure modernization. It includes hardware-, cloud- and software-based technologies.
"vSphere: Leading virtualization platform with advanced features, but costly"
I love it for its powerful and feature-rich virtualization capabilites. Its scalability, comprehensive feature set (snapshot, vmotio, DRS, HA to name just a few), and integration with Vmware's big ecosystem. However, its costs, complexity and resource demands can be drawbacks, especially for smaller organizations.
"Robust Replication Features"
Easy to use, with powerful replication features. Simple and easy to integrate with other Microsoft services.
"Powerful and Innovative Administration for Virtualization"
Overall I have a satisfactory experience since the administration for the virtualization of machines is very powerful and innovative, I think the hyperconvergence is working perfectly for us and the possibility of having a node down and that all VM are automatically migrated to other node is great.
"Sugar, spice and everything nice"
Didn't think I would ever switch to something else, but since I started using SLES with my company i really started enjoying it. It's just intuitive with a great selection of packages in the official repositories. Regular security patches, long support cycles and OUTSTANDING support. I even started using OpenSUSE Leap privately since its 1:1 binary compatible with SLES which makes everything so much easier. Absolutely no performance issues or other problems. We currently use it for all our servers (300+)
"Good software for all business sizes"
Perfect software for our needs and all products of this vendor are really reliable.
"Overall good OS for servers "
One of the robust and fast Operating System. Best for Servers which host application and runs different jobs.
"Helped reclaim under-utilized resources, spot capacity shortfalls and rebalance workloads"
Red Hat Virtualization provided scheduled automated synchronization between datacenter and disaster recovery sites that helped the company meet lower recovery point and recovery time objectives. With this solution an integrated dashboard to centrally manage the infrastructure was enabled giving us greater visibility into resources for easier troubleshooting.
"Oracle Linux server virtualization..."
Oracle Linux server virtualization is best suited for educational institutions who are looking for server virtualization of their data center.
"Virtuozzo: Reducing the need of additional physical servers"
Virtuozzo hybrid server allows organizations to create and manage multiple virtual instances on a single physical server. It offers container based virtualization and full virtual machines, providing flexibility in managing and optimizing server resources.
"Very good product, excellent service, with reasonable price"
Very good product, services, and pricing. Sangfor HCI also came with backup tools so it helps us to minimize total cost of ownership
"Edge Clusters Made Affordable by Scale's Innovations"
Scale had a team surround us to make sure that our implementation needs were met, and any issues were heard and addressed
"Great standalone or cluster to replace Hyper-V"
I have several sites that only have one server for virtualization but may need to be expanded in the future and I don't have the budget when that time comes to pay for Hyper-V or VMWare.
"Easy to use Chinese private cloud"
We have actually used their products, performance, stability, sound function, can meet all our needs, worthy of others to recommend their products
"From Helpful VM Backups to Tedious Migrations: A CAS Experience"
Intuitive interface for new users of this platform. It has all the basic functions for a virtualization system and some extra features. I liked that you can add multiple hosts to CAS to manage everthing in one platform.
