Whether i am working on a small prototype or a large scale production system. AWS can accommodate changing resource needs without much hassle. Global infrastructure: AWS's global reach ensures low latency and high availability. I've been able to serve applications efficiently to users worldwide, thanks to its broad network of regions and availability zones. Automation and Flexibility: Services like AWS Lambda and the robust API's for EC2 and other resources have made automating tasks much easier. The flexibility in choosing services tailored to specific uses is great. Challenges Steep learning curve: The sheer number of services and features can be overwhelming, especially for those new to cloud computing. Learning how to configure each service optimally takes time, and it is easy to make mistakes if you are unfamiliar with best practices. Cost Management: While AWS is cost effective in many ways, managing costs is challenging. I've had instances where costs spiked unexpectedly due to overlooked resource allocations or underutilized instances. Cost monitoring required constant attention. Microsoft Azure is a great cloud computing platform by Microsoft. It provides options for Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). It has support for different programming languages, frameworks and tools. One can create / configure Resource groups, Virtual machines, file storage, network security groups, Active Directory, Database services very easily in a short span of time thus making server deployment fast and easy. Azure works on Pay as per use model, this means you need to pay for the resource usage till the time it is being used.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a cloud computing platform provided by Google. GCP has lot of features. One can host virtual terminals with the required operating system in the required region and stop the service as and when required on the fly. This helps in optimum utilization of services and thus helps in managing your elastic billing. The storage, network, database, compute can all be managed easily using the GUI provided by the platform. The billing is done based on the service you use and the period for which you use that service. They have support for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. GCP allows you to use database services using Cloud SQL service, open required ports for communication using Firewall service, have persistent storage created, use micro services based architecture using Kubernetes engine and more. One can have logging and monitoring also configured for reference analysis.

Our company has worked with IBM Cloud for many years now and has had excellent services from them. We have even closed all physical data centers down and moved to IBM Cloud.
