From the initial fact-gathering sessions to the post implementation support, the Bio IT team has been great to work with and used their industry experience to help guide us with the proper features for our organization. The 1Platform4 software has moved our organization from a paper-based inventory management system to a completely paperless process. We have gained significant improvements in our efficiency as well.

The first feature I appreciated about the system is the user-friendly interface. The learning curve has been very low during our first year post implementation. The second feature is how customizable the system is. During the discovery phase of our project, the Bio IT team spent significant time on-site learning our process and the system could be tailored to our existing processes. Lastly, the customer service before and after implementation has been top tier. Any questions or concerns are typically addressed same-day or by the following day at the latest. The Bio IT team has participated in several mini ad-hoc meetings with our internal team as questions came up. The Bio IT team is very transparent on the capabilities of the system and communicates clearly every step of the way.

The product is extremely fast running on a local server, customizable in any way and covers all activities in receiving, inventory, issue-out, testing, sampling and controlling raw materials, start-up materials, intermediates and final products, using label printers, barcodes and scanners.

Based on the size of our organization and where we are in relation to manufacturing capabilities, we did not have many negative areas regarding the system's capabilities. One area of improvement is that reports are limited and may have to be customized based on the information that's needed. Another feature that is limited is the cycle count functionality. The cycle count functionality is built in but is limited on how you can view inventory and perform cycle counts. The third area we would have liked to have is the option for more material statuses besides Quarantine or Released. Currently, we are able to work around it so that's not a major concern.
