Data visibility across departments and workflows: Over time, many processes and tasks across departments became tracked on a spreadsheet because we did not have a way to clearly track and communicate. Acumatica has an answer for all departments and their processes in how to link that data together. Individual tasks and priorities: It is much easier to track priorities and what each individual is doing, or needs to do, for the day. Accounting benefits: Our implementation of Acumatica allowed us to track bills from vendors, costing them to customers, resulting in a detailed and easy window into what contracts are profitable or not.
It is open API so we are able to connect all of our systems into it.

The user interface is not intuitive, and lacks features you would expect. For instance, when looking at a Case, there is no way to see a single window and scroll through activities from technicians, which I would expect any ERP to do. However, there are no actual gaps in functionality for the UI. Customization: There was more customization required than I would have expected. For instance, Acumatica out of the box cannot track labor in Cases and track the cost of the employee's time against the contract. Login: A small issue, but still frustrating. If you ever exit the Acumatica window, you have to login again.
It can be hard to correct mistakes. It operates with the understanding that everything flows correctly.
- UI visually can look a bit dysfunctional (dashboards and charts can be difficult to configure, themes) - Not as widely adopted as other Tier ERP (less product support from 3rd parties) - Limitations on reporting (requires BI tools for more indepth analytics, requires 3rd party add ons)
