By Workday
Now half way through our second five year licence period, having just completed a complex 1,100 FTE, 14 country and 17 entity migration to Workday. Could not be happier with our renewal decision, the product and the way the migration went. We are now full platform, 7,500 employees in the US, UK, India, Philippinnes, Lithuania and further extension into EMEA and APAC. Our renewal was predicated on proven scalable product features and integration-ready nature; we were able to expand the functionality into new areas (payroll partnership where non-native, use of banking-as-a-service) to marry up a talented Workday savvy team on the acquisition side with strong, wider SaaS/ERP talent on the acquiror side to great effect. This leveraged Workday adoption at a rate that has surprised even us.

Sage Intacct is quite good, especially when it comes to its reporting and dashboards - it reduces manual work significantly.

D365 is constantly evolving and improving both the feature sets and the underlying technology behind it so you will never be stagnant or behind the times again. It works well with other Microsoft products such as Project and M365. It is also a more affordable solution compared to alternative products we looked at.

My overall experience with SAP Cloud ERP has been positive in a large enterprise context. The solution provides a reliable backbone for finance and service oriented processes, especially in environments where standardisation and control are important. The system is stable and comprehensive but it's not simple. Using it effectively requires well-defined processes and a willingness to adapt ways of working with SAP standards. When that alignment is in place, it supports consistent execution and reporting across teams and regions. When it's not, the system can feel heavy and slow to adapt.

Oracle Fusion Cloud is a highly robust, scalable and comprehensive suite suitable for mid to large enterprises needing deep, integrated financial, supply chain and HR functionality. It excels with AI driven real time analytics and strong security third-party integrations. However, users frequently cite high costs, a steep learning curve, and complex reporting as significant drawbacks.

I work in Finance for a large healthcare system and we have been using Dynamic 365 to manage aspects of our non-clinical operations for supplies and some departmental workflows. I rated it 4 out of 5 because its a solid, cloud based ERP that integrates seamlessly with out Microsoft 365 ecosystem, which is huge for the productivity in a Microsoft heavy environment. It has significantly improved real-time visibility into financial data, streamlined accounting processes, and helped with compliance reporting which is critical in healthcare.

It took a lot of the friction out of month-end, order-to-cash, and basic reporting by putting everyone on the same set of numbers instead of debating whose file was "the real one". Day to day, NetSuite feels like the central nervous system of the business: GL, AP/AR, inventory and basic CRM all sit in one place and workflows tie them together in a way that makes sense for everyday users, not just the finance team. Once we got out core processes modelled - purchase orders, invoicing, approvals and revenue recognition - month-end stopped being a mad scramble and we could close faster with far fewer manual adjustments. The biggest shift was visibility: leadership, finance and operations finally looked at the same dashboards and reports, so conversations moved from "where did this number come from? to "what are we going to do about it?" that alone changed the tone of a lot of meetings. Our main pain point was running too much of the business on disjointed tools and manual work: accounting in one system, inventory in another, CRM somewhere else, and endless exports to glue it all together. NetSuite gave us a single place to handle core ERP flows - order, inventory, billing and financials - so data only needed to be entered once and then flowed through the process.

Since our team manages client pipelines directly in Salesforce, choosing a native ERP was the most logical step to prevent manual data entry errors between departments. It has united our sales data on a single shareable dashboard, allowing for complete, real-time tracking of our sales and finances from the moment a sales opportunity is initiated.
