The Single Sign On (SSO) integration is consistent in user experience in logging into Workday with seamless credential verification and minimal user fatigue in logging in throughout the day. Automated feeds and reporting is a huge plus to assist with structured data, SFTP, and APIs working with our HRIS/IT teams. Workday also assist with inbox notices for quarterly check-ins arrive on time and keep performance workflows on track.
One thing I really like is the automatic address update. When I moved addresses, Workday spoke to other services like ADP, my 401(k) provider, and others and automatically updated my address. Pretty cool! I also like how I can view my personal details, like compensation and bonus amount.
What I like most is the clean interface and straightforward navigation, even for occasional users. Common tasks are easy (updating details, submitting requests, checking status), and approvals and notifications make it clear whats needed and where things are in the process.
Sometimes the feed timing can have some latency. New employee accounts and account changes can materialize after the next business day scheduled for the next scheduled feed run for employees needing access in the moment.
The user interface feels a little clunky.
Some pages can feel cluttered with lots of fields and options, especially at first. Finding very specific information can take a few extra clicks if you dont already know the right path, and reporting/views can be confusing for regular users without training.

I have an overall good experience with using Work day. Work day has many functionalities and allows for customization, bridging the different functions in a company. Automation possibilities have helped us to improve efficiency and eliminating manual work. Certain functionalities are not intuitive to use. It requires some back and forth and trial and errors. We have several interface connections to and from Work day that work very well.
