Performance of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Across Market Features
Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Likes & Dislikes
It has global scalability features - The system supports multiple ledgers, currencies, languages and local/tax regulatory requirements which means one can rollout standardized global processes while easily remaining compliant with specific local laws (IFRS or US GAAP). It has built in Risk Management & Compliance - The product has embedded risk management and compliance tools which automates monitoring of financial controls and enforces SOD (Segregation of Duties). This simplifies the external audit process by ensuring adherence to standards like SOX/ICFR. It offers unparalleled integration - The entire suite (Financials, Supply Chain, EPM, Projects etc.) is built on one unified data model which immediately kills the problem of data silos and reconciliation between different systems.
This product does have several modules that are interconnected. Financials, procurement, human resources, grants management, and project management are all available out of the box. Each one of these modules is capable of sharing information with each other. Secondly, compliance with government regulations are built into the product. The financial module has built-in audit trails and financial controls and it aligns with public sector accounting rules. Automated compliance reporting and monitoring is also built-in. Finally, the fact that it is a cloud-based application gives employees the flexibility to access this application from anywhere. It runs in the Oracle government cloud infrastructure and incorporates a good deal of security, such as single-sign on, identity management, and role-based access controls.
- Broad range of functionalities, especially those related to FP&A and Accounting (FCCS) - High integration capabilities, both with other tools from the Oracle suite and from external third-parties - Great customer support, and in general large availability of specialized professionals in the market to better support implementation/customization
Reporting Complexity - Getting customized data out of tools like OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) is not intuitive and creates bottlenecks for self-service analysis. High Cost & Rigidity - It's an expensive investment, and the system resists customization. Implementing non-standard processes is both difficult and costly. Mandatory Quarterly Testing - Constant SaaS upgrades require continuous resource allocation for testing and managing internal changes every three months.
Oracle Fusion Cloud is expensive on several fronts: licensing, implementation, and consulting. Each module comes with its own price point, which can add up quickly, especially for a smaller organization. Any specialized customization of these modules will also incur an additional cost. Outside consultants are available, but since this is a specialized application that requires a specific skill-set, consulting can also prove to be expensive. Secondly, the application does not perform well. Computational tasks can take quite a long time to complete. Often, the application appears to hang up in a web browser. Performance issues are not isolated to the corporate network. Users working remotely have experience similar slowness and the application hanging. Finally, the new system was difficult to use. The user interface is not very intuitive. The help menus are not very helpful at all. A significant amount of training was required for all employees before everyone felt comfortable using the application at a basic level.
User Interface, apart from being not so compelling in terms of mere graphics, also proved to be a little intuitive for some functionality, e.g. Purchase Order management process being overcomplicated/overbureaucreatized

Licensing Expenses and System Slowness Highlighted in Oracle Fusion Cloud Experience
When it came to this application, Oracle over-promised and under-delivered. Granted, when this application was initially purchased, the product had not been on the market very long. However, Oracle gave demos of certain features that were not available in the initial production release for my organization. Implementation of these missing modules and features took a significant amount of time. - SR TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT<50M USDHealthcare and BiotechReview Source

Great range of functionalities, unfortunately not all at the same qualitative level
Oracle ERP, and especially its FCCS product, proved to be a great tool in performing both recurring and non-recurring financial activities across several departments and even geographies. Main advantages include surely relaiability of the system, customization possibilities and broad range of integration features with external tools. However, some UX aspects may look not so captivating and easy-to-grasp, especially for new users coming from different ERPs. High cost may also play a role as limiting factor for further implementation - It Manager1B-10B USDManufacturingReview Source
Platform Stability and Scalability Noted With Room for Usability Enhancements
Our overall experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP has been positive, especially in terms of platform stability and scalability. We rely heavily on standardized processes, real-time financial visibility and strong integration capabilities. The implementation required significant change management and process alignment, but once stabilized, the tool has proven reliable and adaptable. Some modules still require usability improvements and more flexibility in configuration capabilities. - ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ANALYST50M-1B USDIT ServicesReview Source
