“Trust in Tool Output Grows Despite Early Context and Auto Mode Reliability Problems”

Overall my experience has been positive and good. Specially in non productive or non functional tasks like comparisons, documentation it has helped massively and even in productive tasks for my specific use case (Camunda workflow development) I have seen a 20% improvement so far. A lot of manual effort was saved recently for unification of multiple complicated flows into 1 related to comparisons, input/output variables normalization task. That being said, there is a lot of learning curve at the beginning. Making it understand the Camunda flow context and also requirements was a challenge and I faced issues with UI rendering of created Camunda flows in Camunda modeler tool very frequently. I had to provide specific instructions to correct those for every task. Since we are new users of this tool, it takes a while to trust the output as well but I have reached a more trusting phase now. Overall, it's a solid tool. Will definitely improve overall output however with specific products and context it won't replace developers fully as being projected, it will still remain a good assistant.

I think this service still has a long way to go, but I see great potential. Being able to analyze and even repair infrastructure will change the way infrastructure engineers do their jobs.

Fix your infrastructure with just a few prompts

Like

I especially appreciate its ability to automatically scan code for vulnerabilities, which facilitates a fast, efficient, and secure deployment. It has powerful capabilities to accelerate development throughout the entire software development lifecycle, helping us implement new features that add value or update the software itself based on new functionalities we want to include during the process. Working with AWS makes it easy to integrate with other AWS services, which greatly simplifies our own development and reduces response times.

Dislike

1. Initial setup and context building was tricky and with a lot of bugs, but improved with time. 2. Auto mode results were less reliable, so used claude sonnet specifically for better results. 3. UI rendering issue seen with Camunda workflows, was repetitively corrected via prompts and then its fine now.

Dislike

It's still new, so we need to confirm whether it can be used in a real environment. I feel that in order to use AI to make environmental changes, reliability needs to be guaranteed.

Dislike

We've found that sometimes, in more complex projects, the accuracy of the code it provides requires our review because we clearly notice typos or inconsistencies. I believe it should include more development features and automation in its paid version. It's an AWS product, and therefore we should always demand more from it to keep pace with its competitors. In the free version, to properly test the product, they need to increase the number of interactions so users can fully understand it. I think it's important to be able to test it thoroughly to convince users that it's the right tool for their development needs.
