APIs provided by Flink. Easy to do simple transformations on top of kafka table via flink sql query. Its compatibility for kubernetes and bare-metal. Most importantly open-source.
It accept tons of data coming in extremely fast, possibly from various sources, analyze it, and publish real-time updates to a UI or some other place without storing any actual data.
1.) Flink is known for its best low latency and high throughput making suitable for real-time data processing. 2.) exactly one processing semantics provides data accuracy. 3.) supports both batch and streaming with rich apis and libraries.
I didnt find any to dislike. But has fewer deployment options compared to spark.
To update running topology existing needs to be destroyed and then new topology needs to created.
1.) Limited community support compared to spark. 2.) Managing and monitoring flink clusters can be complex when compared to others. 3.) Resource intensive to ensure the best performance.
