The mobile accessibility on the go was the best feature of the product. We could respond to tenant inquiries, and see images of issues and report back to maintenance request vendors for further inquiry or resolution on the fly. The service and support that we received was unparalleled. It was an easy deployment and integration into our existing services and we experienced little to no downtime in switching services to Appfolio. We appreciate all the help from the customer service and product managers on the integration. We found it rather scalable to manage lot of tenants and properties and ease of identifying and diving in on certain areas or markets easily we could efficiently manage multiple properties through Appfolio on the go or from the office.

The ease of confusion of first time login into the platform and determining the identity between management and tenant. We thought intiailly that we were logging in as a management or landlord, but ended up logging into as a tenant. We wished this was more evident than described.
AppFolio is built for single family management and the software does not have all the functionality it should for MultiFamily. Contracts and sub-contracts for additional services are not flexible to a changing market and changing company.
No dislikes, you simply pay rent, view your docs, and move forward.

Venturing into AppFolio's Single and Multi-Family Management
I have used AppFolio in the past for single family, and am currently using AppFolio for Multi-Family. AppFolio is cutting edge on technology. Although AppFolio has made some big leaps with their Multi-Family functions, they lack in some areas. Their single family functionality is top notch. The Appfolio overall has an intuitive and friendly interface after the initial bumpy setup of determining the proper account for login i.e. management versus tenant.
