Aras Innovator gave me the capability to handle all phases of the product life cycle. From the designs to the manufacturing procedures, almost everything is integrated, this gives an understanding of our product development.
Having Aras Innovator, I could see all the product components clearly with the structural multi level dependencies. This helped me avoid mistakes in tracking changes and complete component accounting. This convenience is particularly useful for the process of producing complex components that fall under the category of discrete manufacturing.
The ability to build custom resilient solutions on this platform using a variety of out of the box tools is really great!
Low-code setting is highly dependent on programming skills to allow customization of the platform to our needs. This made us so much dependent on our IT staff for even minor fluctuations, which has not been good for our flexibility.
In the implementation process, I found myself with the most hurdles. This includes the lack of data mapping consistency and synchronisation problems in real time data. As a result, the information of products no longer supported accurate procedures, causing a great deal of awkwardness.
The ability to modify multiple records at once with a drag and fill feature is critically lacking. I understand one is in the works though!
