Great support staff to obtain our data from our 1,100 suppliers. Great software to store and maintain data. Pricing is competitive and allows us to only have one compliance specialist on staff in our company as we can rely on Assent for most of the efforts. Very good reporting capabilities to see your data in various ways. The API allows us to import the data to our e-commerce websites.
1. There are people available with expertise in various areas of compliance regulations. 2. The database is accessible and makes information readily available once the data has been loaded. 3. The service provides a level of expertise that is not present in our organization.
Access to experts, beyond the key account manager, I can leverage expert advice to solve issues. Responsiveness: the key account manager is always available, and proactively comes forward to notify of issues on the implementation Workshops: Assent organises workshop with is a great way to network, and also practice exercises which bring different views.
Things are getting better, but in the past response times for technical problems were too slow. But they have really upped their game in the last year with technical support. Sometimes, though, you still have to push them to escalate an emerging technical problem.
1. Slow response times from customer service representatives and/or lack of response. 2. The lack of clarity regarding the integration between the ASP and the ASM. If, as an Assent customer, products have already been loaded into the ASM, why do I have to identify them in the ASP? 3. When in the ASP, there are a few different areas to find customer requests. It is not always easy to figure out where to look. Even clicking on the link in the email does not always take you directly to that customer's request. And there is no notification from the ASP that a request has been received.
It is difficult to know how many services are opened to me, and some clarification would be necessary to maximise use of services.

Assent's platform and service are excellent and assistance for problems is getting better.
They have a well structured product and it is the only way we can operate at scale to provide our customers with RoHS, REACH, TSCA, PFAS and Conflict Minerals declarations. They have a good customer response service as well that we use.
