It's simply superb. Within 15 days, I already made a tool for my project which could have taken 6 to 7 months to make. I just integrated it with my IDE and with just a few simple English sentences it made the basic structure of the app. From there it was like, I gave instructions and it kept doing it step by step. Yes, sometimes it makes mistakes, it doesn't work as expected but it is completely based on your prompts and if something goes wrong we can discard the changes also.

Only thing is that I have to do QA every time once it does the coding. It sometimes gives wrong output but it completely depends on your prompts.

Our experience with Augment has been excellent and have been using it for over 6 months with about 70 users. We transitioned from a competitor product after using it for a year. We found Augment to have better context awareness for our existing large code base with more accurate and relevant autocomplete and chat, with lower latency, and had great IDE support. Beyond the engineers, we love the Slack bot which has been a game changer. This allows product managers and customer facing teams to self-serve technical information and product behavior questions without escalating to engineering. This lowers our overhead and gets answers to customers faster. The chatbot is also handy for doing technical planning, generating requirements docuemnts, technical plans, etc. We also like the high-touch support with a shared slack channel and regular detailed usage and adoption reports.
