User friendly interface and drag and drop functionality simplifies the label designing. Bartender supports almost all types of variable and barcode like 1D, 2D, QR Code, RFID. Its integration with database, CSV or APIs.
Very Powerful Data Driven Integration Tools. Almost unlimited design flexibility and just about every feature needed to cover enterprise label printing.
1) user friendly and cost effective solution 2) You can use data entry forms or variable data from an external database to print labels 3) It comes with pre-built templates which saves your significant time on label designing. 4) You can use text, images, etc. in labels.
Bartender is a licensed software and its cost is high. The interface is user friendly, but some advanced features like scripting, automation and integration may require technical expertise. When printing with a csv file it does not keep a record of the data printed.
The main issues we have had with the software is inexplicably slow processing of jobs that are transient and annoying. We can send a job and it could process in 30 seconds, or take 20 minutes.
We have not encountered any issues with Bartender software so far.

BarTender is overall a great product, but there are certain limitations that make it hard to use, and even more difficult to scale. However, as a barcode and label software, it does have the functionality to be powerful.
