“Zebra Designer Struggles with Integration Despite Reliable Label Printing”

We use Zebra designer for printing barcodes, address labels and other tasks. Whilst it's friendly to use it can feel a little 'clunky' - the interface still feels like it was built for Windows 3.1 and doesn't always seem to produce the desired results. Selecting the correct size of label can sometime be tricky, but once the settings are finally dialled in it can churn out labels at a decent rate.

Quick work in generating barcodes and designing labels for inventory tracking. We needed to easily print those labels once created and ensure they were applied to assets.

It's specific to the Zebra printer selected, produces consistent results (once set up correctly) and produces labels using a wax roll so fairly waterproof (and doesn't ever jam!)

It lets you create barcode stickers instantly, you don't require any technical knowledge for the same. It lets you use various fonts and graphics in barcode stickers. It lets you use variable data in barcode stickers.

Honestly it has checked off the boxes for everything we needed it to do. We have only scratched the surface of the full capabilities, but at this time do not have any dislikes for the software.

It can be a bit 'clunky' and doesn't seem to integrate well with external data sources - producing labels from a database is no easy task

We have not encountered any problems with Zebra Designer till now.

The product has highly intuitive software, making the on-boarding process of new members to learn the process of barcode printing very easy as well as the interface design language is highly cohesive with Microsoft Office design language. The ability to create templates prior and reusing them for different use cases increases productivity to a large extent.
