1) Easy to design any type of barcode labels. Predefined formats helps to design barcode labels faster. 2) You can use external data with it like excel etc. 3) Availablity of almost all barcode encoding.
The vast range of functionalities made light work of any label needs or specification changes.
The software is easy to use. I came into the environment where the application was already being used on an older 10.1 version and I completed the software upgrade on the server user end without any issues. This is a reliable software that works with most major printers.
1) labels designed in older version may not be open in new version. 2) May face font issue after upgrade. 3) Rest i didn't faced any issue with it.
Implementation could be a headache at times, users without experience may struggle to get to grips with the wide range of tools.
One of the issues we face is accessing the database from the older version on the newer platform. Even though the database is backwards compatible we sometime see labels mangled around, that causes some issue. To overcome we created labels on the the newer platform and since we do not have any issues.

in general terms all the features we expexted from the product was as expected. but in some cases drivers doesn’t have the madurity to work with printers from all vendors, not all functionality arr implemented, but drivers from seagull are constantly updating
