The product is easy to use and customize. We worked closely with BigID to implement and develop custom features. The BigID team remained flexible and supportive as our requirements changed or were redefined.
It has many different module options, and it is good at data discovery.
It's fast at scanning and the Vendor worked with us on multiple occasions on enhancements my company needed to implement
Support for ECS/Fargate was not available when we started the project but is now. EKS is the preferred supported technology, but unfortunately our org was not allowing implementation of EKS until after implementation.
It is good for technical reporting but not for business or management reporting. Limited on capabilities to data mine for metrics/KPIs, run reports, little flexibility. It does not work well for what our processes needs. Basic models that are restrictive.
We did not go with the SaaS version and it was painful it deploy in our environment with our low risk tolerance
