Clio Likes & Dislikes
Clio's customer support service is excellent. Their team is quick to respond and very helpful, providing assistance through chat, phone and email.
It is a simple and accessible tool for day to day tasks as one can customize as per their suitability and it has very strong client support.
I like that it can be used by solo practitioners as well. Also, the customer support folks are always available and ready to help.
Clio offers great functionality it can be very expensive for smaller firms. And mobile app could be improved in terms of functionality. While it allows you to access cases and time entries, it lacks some of the features of the desktop version, such as document editing or advanced report generation.
Migration and connectivity with other apps could be improved.
It's sometimes buggy and we need to reload it to get it to work. The reload is a bit slow too.

Clio's Adequacy and Limitations in Comprehensive Legal Research
Clio is a good and reliable practice management system for routine work. For instance, it is not very helpful for carrying out a comprehensive search for a legal problem. For finding new cases that have been just released, I still need to go from external sources. - Firm Administrator<50M USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
Exceptional Client Support and Flexibility Defines Clio's Software Experience
Transitioning to Clio was surprisingly smooth. We've been using Clio's platform since January of 2020 and we're happy with it! Their client support is incredible and soo easy to access via chat or phone call. There have been times that they didn't have a solution for us, but even then, they submit the request as an idea to the developers. Billing for our law firm is much more streamlined than it ever was with other platforms.
