Cloudflare's network is incredibly large. This means it can easily stop large-scale DDoS attacks. The alerts Cloudflare generates are instant and descriptive. We receive emails when suspected attacks are in place, including which site specifically is being targeted. Cloudflare's support is also terrific. The engineers we worked with that helped us with implementation and answered our questions were very knowledgeable.
At least the chart could be updated in real time, so I can see why my origin server is down and how ineffective Cloudflare's HTTP DDoS Protection is.
