The thing I like most about Fastly is the flexibility it provides without sacrificing speed. More specifically, the Fastly edge rate limiting can either by set up in a few clicks, or written into the VCL directly with custom logic for more advanced users and use cases.
It separates WAF and NGWAF so it is alittle bit difficult to find the security functionality
The support side was not great in the past
Fastly can have a learning curve, and making sure services are set up for streamlined updates and maintenance requires work.
