I appreciate the flexibility CostPerform, as it is costing framework agnostic, it offers predictive analysis and scenario planning, and it has an ETL capability for automated data acquisition.
The CostPerform platform enables users to create specific cost models that provide a clear understanding of program and service costs. The detailed model functionality helps users locate potential cost optimization areas while fine-tuning resource distribution.
CostPerform provides great functionality for working with budgets and is significant for better defining budgets of an organization within the limits of a single year. One can easily keep track of allocations and negotiated costs by departments and the reports are easily understandable.
It is not wizard driven so that models must be built manually, it has limited inherent dashboarding capabilities, and it does nit have pre-defined report generation options.
Integration of external data sources proved challenging within CostPerform. The data silos created by CostPerform's existing limitations block users from obtaining a complete budgetary resource perspective.
CostPerform lacks functionality for effective long-term planning. The data appear to be localized within the budget of the various years and it is almost impossible to find out whether the funds are needed in the next year or the subsequent years.
