What we like most is how well DataBricks integrates different data workloads in one place. A unified platform for data processing, analytics, and AI/ML is very powerful. Features like Apache Spark support, Delta Lake, and easy integration with cloud services make it efficient and reliable for large scale data use cases.
integration with data and other services. sharing is nice
1. Scalability for AI workloads 2. Very minimal latency while running import 3. seamless lakehouse architecture
The main challenge is the learning curve, especially for teams that are new to Spark or distributed data platforms. Cost management can also be tricky at times, as usage-based pricing request close monitoring to avoid unexpected expenses.
inflexible plotting notebook dashboard and ai/bi dashboards being different
1. cost can get out of hand because of compute cost for long running jobs 2.very strong internal governance is required with difficult cost attributes 3.basic usage is easy but advanced item requires skill
