One of the most amazing things about Qlik Sense is its associative engine, we just need to feed our data into the system and it automatically associates fields between the data model, and this can make analysis very fast, Second is its QVD feature which is used to store raw data from the source directly into it and we can use this same QVD across multiple applications without disturbing our main source all the time, we can use it to store incremental data as well from the source daily and one of the main features of QVD is it can compress and optimize the data which can help it load faster as well, Third is its ETL capability to handle complex data from multiple sources, whether the data is in FTP, API or any old SAP version, we can consolidate it very easily. It can handle heavy data as well without slowing the system, For any level of deep analysis these things are very important and Qlik Sense does it amazingly.
We like to self service dashboard, Ing and the smart search to use keywords to discover relevant metrics, fields, or associations quickly.
- Strong expertise in qlik data modeling and dashboard desing -fast and solution, oriented support team -effective communication and guidance throughout the entire projecet process.
One is visualization, some of the features of the chart are outdated, we can't modify some complex features as they are rigid even though they have been improving but they need to make some changes regarding this, Second is the learning curve for advanced users, they will need to write a lot of code compared to other BI tools, to apply some filters as well they would need to write some extra code, which is kind of frustrating and because of these things it has a steep learning curve, Third is costing, Qlik Sense is expensive for users compared to other BI tools which are mostly free for making dashboard, but for even creating a single dashboard they would need to pay, even though they have 30 days trial but after 30 days they can't do anything
Nothing in particular, however, the associative engine performs best when data is modeled carefully. Poorly structure data can lead to performance issues or unexpected associations.
- Support and technical assitance response time can be slighty longer during peak project periods (Only technical side) -Some advanced features in qlik dashboards require additional guidance for new users. -minor delays in documentation updates after implementing complex solutions
