Rapid, visual data preparation - The drag-and-drop workflow canvas lets analysts prototype and iterate transforms quickly, so we were able to deliver the first set of dealer input files in a matter of days rather than weeks. 2.Wide connectivity - Alteryx connects to our source systems and intermediate stores easily, so we can pull combined views and produce unified inputs for Qlik. 3.Reduced manual handoffs - Automating the file generation eliminated many manual extraction and formatting steps that previously caused delays and errors for dealer reporting.

I liked that it required no coding skills, could blend data from multiple sources and automate repetitive tasks.

1. Visual workflows make it easy to trace and debug data pipelines. 2. Good range for connectors for combining data from multiple sources. 3. Easy to reuse and schedule workflows, which saves a lot of manual effort.

1. Licensing cost - Alteryx can be expensive as you scale users, server usage and workloads, thus budget planning is essential. This can contribute to operational overhead too as running an Alteryx server requires dedicated admin effort. 2.Performance on large datasets- for extremely large datasets and tables we sometimes need to push processing down to the database or rethink or restructure the workflow to avoid long run times 3.Version control and collaboration friction - Visual workflows are powerful, but managing versions and code-style reviews is less straightforward than with text-based pipelines.

I disliked the customer support, the upskilling learning curve, and the scalability issues.

1. For complete new users, the interface can feel overwhelming because there are so many tools and configuration options. 2. Running very large or complex workflows can consume significant local resources unless you invest in the right server or cloud setup. 3. The cost can be barrier if you want to scale licenses to a larger group of occasional users, which sometimes forces teams to share access.
