Actionable Insights: Real-time analytics on attrition, payroll and employee costs helps HR leaders make data-driven decisions and supports collaboration with finance teams.

Excel integration for automatically consolodating data across our ERP and accounting software into Excel. It also provides version control to audit changes across reports easily.

By using DataRails, I was able to see instant version comparisons of data and generate reports through a single interactive platform. With advanced user-permission settings, I was able to protect sensitive data and ensure that employees only get access to information they may need in their work

1. Initial Setup and Integration Complexity : Integrating with multiple systems like ERP, HRIS, and payroll can be time consuming and may require technical support. 2. Limited Customization for Complex Scenarios : Some advanced workflows or highly specific HR/finance processes may require additional configuration or workarounds. 3. Advanced Analytics learning curve: While powerful features like scenario modeling and predictive analytics may be complex for new users without proper training.

It was difficult initially while connecting to our accounting app.

Error messages are not specific enough for new users. It is powerful enough to simplify our workflows but should also be simple enough for anybody to learn and use

Finance Teams Benefit From Data Consolidation Though User Interface Requires Adjustment

Our overall experience has been positive. We use Datarails in our parent org, used by our finance team. Excel integration was really helpful. The team used scenario modeling to plan our cycles. Initial adoption can be challenging. Some users who haven't had experience above excel can find it difficult as per UX.

Best planning tool on the market in my opinion

Trying to manage P&L's for a handful of retail locations and departments, combined with nearly 2,000 employees is a challenge to say the least. Planning with DataRails has streamlined our planning and forecasting cycles and helped us to standardize metrics, reporting and analysis. It makes comparing plans, forecasts and actuals across the organization easy and requires no training or overhead. Who would’ve thought that would ever be possible..

We keep using our Excels but benefit from a system that is in the cloud, it's customizable, and offered for a great price. It has improved every aspect of the FP&A function within our company.
