    Outstanding customer support, ambitious product feature development, best choice if you host with them.

    My company uses an installed version of the software rather than DKO's web-hosted service/product, so we're always behind on features, which is annoying. However, the support is OUTSTANDING. Not once has someone complained that I'm asking for help on an issue that's been solved in the latest release, or done anything but provide information, support, and guidance.

    Vendor Support Effective But Product Functionality Constraints Remain a Challenge

    Our support with the vendor is mostly timely and efficient. Our struggles haven't necessarily been with the vendor, but are with some of the limitations or functionality of the product. However, vendor support has been responsive in identifying work-arounds or alternative methods to achieving the functionality we are seeking.

Like

There are many things that make domiKnow an amazing authoring tool. Adaptive learning and rule-based design enables personalized learning paths and ensures content behaves consistently across different scenarios. The tool is amazing for small to large teams alike and allows for sharing of courses and libraries as well as reviewers. There is also single-source content management, which makes updating content in one place easy to push across multiple courses to increase efficiency. Finally, dominKnow is built for complex programs by handling large-scale, structured learning initiatives better than many traditional authoring tools.

Like

1- It combines course authoring, content management and publishing in a single cloud-based system. 2- Multiple team members can work on the same project, review content and provide feedback. 3- Learning assets can be reused across courses which saves time.

The technical and customer support.

Dislike

The development team appears to be actively addressing the following gaps, and new capabilities are being introduced regularly, which is promising. There are limited out-of-the-box interactions, and more advanced or engaging interactions often require complex workarounds or custom development. Without hardcoding skills, there are some constraints in how far you can push the design and interactivity. There are some processes and design elements that are not as intuitive or streamlined as other tools.

Dislike

1- the platform has many features which can feel overwhelming for beginners. 2- Some workflows and navigation options may take time to understand. 3- While templates are helpful, deeper customization can sometimes require additional effort.

Dislike

While it is perfect for people who are happy to click and see what happens to learn a product, I prefer guidance, documentation, and consistent training. It's just not possible in our environment.
