Domo has been fantastic. Much better than other tools. It offers very advanced features and abilities while maintaining a easy to use and friendly looking UI. It lets advanced users build with Python, R, Jupyter, Pro Code, etc. while entry level users can explore basic visualizations or view/ETL or dashboards.

Domo offers a lot of versatility (+1k connectors) and supports federated queries. Domo is lagging behind when it comes to UI and Gen AI features though.

I link the ease of use, while maintaining advanced functionality. We're able to connect to most systems to bring in data. And for any other data that you want to bring into Domo, like an Excel file, they have multiple ways to do this. Both as a 1 off and on a recurring basis. This makes it very easy to streamline and maintain connections from all sources.

Domo connects to many different sources and has a proprietary storage system. We often use federated queries to query external databases.

Domo is extremely flexible and easy to customize visualizations. The product is easy to use for users with any experience level. The customer service provided by both the account team and the technical support team is top-notch. Domo has given us great insights into our operations and performance, allowing us to make informed decisions in a timely manner.

I think the visualizations could be more advanced/customizable (without advanced knowledge and complexities).

- design could be more modern - they try to shift our contract to one that would be based on usage - lack of gen AI features and agents, MCP

Domo is constantly enhancing the governance tools but I feel there is an opportunity to automate some of the user management.
