It's easy to assign review to attorneys and communicate with their customer support team when I have questions.
The best part is being able to organize document sets into various binders and being able to code them accordingly. Being able to filter by custodian is very helpful.
Everlaw has been a learning process, but there are many tools that help our unit do our jobs more efficiently. Such as organizational tools, compiling, redacting, marking persistent highlights for search terms, and getting the email reviews done quicker than manually!
It is a bit difficult to understand at first, and I wish that you could tag people in document notes. It would make it a lot easier to communicate with each other using Everlaw.
Having to upload another load file to make adjustments to files such as changing the custodian or adding bates. It is tedious to have to adjust in excel and then reupload.
That it takes a while to understand how it operates. For example, I had to go over the instructions I learned for persistent highlights, binders, creating assignment groups, assigning, etc. it took awhile. I get confused on the binders especially and and labeling being correct initially. Once you make a mistake you have to backtrack.

Everlaw Offers Comprehensive Tools But Difficult for Less Tech-Savvy Users
