My overall experience with Extrahop RevealX has been really good. Its a solid network tool to get visibility into what's actually happening on the network, and it has helped us catch things we would have missed otherwise. The reason I rated it high is for its high quality detections and it does a good job of surfacing things that matter and helps with the investigations. There's also a learning curve to the tool if you're unfamiliar with NDR and network event investigation, but with ample time and learning resources, that should not be a concern.

Overall, this is a good product, but only recently has been innovating and still requires heavy tuning in order to filter out scanning and typical traffic. We have had the product for ~7+ years and this is still a monthly/daily effort. At times it feels like we are the test subjects, and the features aren't fully functional or operational before pushed out.

Intuitive Design and Responsive Support Highlighted Alongside Occasional Hardware Concerns
The products work as described and have intuitive user interfaces as well as extensive APIs. The teams that we interact with at ExtraHop do an excellent job of listening to our needs and issues and addressing them in a reasonable time. Identifying Problem Root Causes Remains Challenging Despite Strong Administrative Features
We have a good relationship with them. However when raising issues we sometime get ask the basic troubleshooting question which can be annoying when we are pretty sure our problems are not standard.
