What I really appreciate about CrowdStrike Falcon Next Gen identity security is its capability to identify and stop identity related threats as they happen, offering clear insight into unauthorised used of credentials and access activities which helps improve the overall security posture.
Behavioral biometrics and anomaly detection: This allows us to catch subtle signs of account compromise. Real-time threat intelligence: It constantly gathers threat data that knows about the latest attacks, malware and hacker groups and correlates' identity activity with endpoints and networks. Adaptive Access Control: It can dynamically adjust access based on risk and adds a layer of Zero Trust security.
What I like most is how it can find and deal with threats based on identity, giving clear insight into how users and service accounts act. This makes our security for identities stronger and helps stop stolen login details being used.
What I really dont like is that it can be hard to set up at first and might need a lot of assessment to cut down on false alarms and make it work well with how the organisation uses identities.
Complexity and initial configuration: It needs to be properly integrated with your existing identity infrastructure like AD and Azure AD and its policies need to be tuned. Potential for Alert Fatigue: The system can generate a high volume of alerts, especially during the initial learning phase. Limited Customization in Some Areas: Limitations in customizing reports and dashboards to meet specific needs and integrating with certain third-party tools are not officially supported.
What I don't like the most is that setting things up and adjusting them can be complicated. Some alerts need careful adjustment to avoid too much unnecessary information. It also takes a while to completely fit the identity insights into our current work processes.
