My overall experience with FortiGate secure SDWAN implementation on FortiGate has been positive. The solution provides strong integration between networking and security. Allowing centralized management of wan connectivity Another advantage is the visibility into application traffic and the ability to prioritize critical services such as voice, video conferencing, and business applications. As per my hands-on and experience with the FortiGate SDWAN is very good.

its good feature in Fortinet firewall without licenses cost inbuilt. Fortinet secure sd-wan I like use both SD-WAN over the internet and IP-sec VPN. Regarding Ip-sec SD-WAN which is best result provide to reach the destination based on SLA target. its easy to manage and control and create firewall rule according to the requirement and use case. overall experiences are good with this product sometimes I faced SLA preference issue some time best path not selected as per SLA target set internet sd-wan and ip-sec sd-wan

SD-WAN features effectively optimize traffic across multiple WAN links such as MPLS and broadband by using performance-based routing and SLA monitoring. Additionally, overall FortiGate SDWAN is a good, reliable and scalable solution for organizations looking to combine secure networking with efficient WAN optimization. I have good experience in FortiGate and easy managing our organization. I will always recommend FortiGate. I have completed the training course in FortiGate support portal it's totally helpful for the self-portal.

Easy to manage and configure according to destination required. Session Hanover, I like the most while change SLA target towards destination. SD-WAN monitor is good feature to check health of internet line as well Ip-sec connection.

I really like Fortinet's Secure SD-WAN feature. It makes connecting all branches to the data center super smooth, and the traffic flow can be customized exactly the way we want. Combined with the dynamic routing, it feels really reliable for production traffic. That flexibility is a big win.

One of the main challenges with Fortinet's SD-WAN offering is that troubleshooting complex SD-WAN routing performance issues can be difficult. Support services are delayed but overall are good.

Session handover has sometimes I faced this issue for example, issue faced with Microsoft Teams' traffic we have two internet line services and both internet line config in sd-wan, if one internet line has some issue such packet loss and jitter based on SLA it must we teams traffic route to secondary internet line which is best performance, normal session does not handover such kind of issue

Honestly, the technical support is kinda slow. Most of the time they just send documentation that I've already read, so it feels repetitive. I'd prefer if they jumped straight into a remote session to go through the issue together, its faster and communication is way clearer that way.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with Fortinet Secure SD-WAN. The product is solid, the documentation is detailed, and the community is active-even old forum posts are stilluseful today. The only thing I’d like to see improved is the technical support experience. Other than that, it's been great.
