Implementation is easy in a complex system, takes little time to configure, and has a convergence of several entities, the details of discovering threats and vulnerabilities, integrating disaster recovery, after attacks on the system, the details dashboard, machine learning, cartography details, level of severity and classification by asset, list of different actions of an alert, customization of interface, domentation, the dashboard in the hunting view are all exportables (.pdf, csv ..), API available, and the solution reflex allows to connect with other solutions like SMS, Mail, etc.), access control MFA, Forensic it's possible, through research for MITRE ATT&CK technicals, the solution also has a complete datalake inside.
It has a nice UI, incredible support, deterministic and predictable alerts and is highly customizable.
The accuracy of the alerts and the contextual details are what I appreciate most. it saves our team a lot of time
Start and use by detecting the most critical, understand the new solution, the human organization in the company, automatic response of incident with the end point (in the roadmap gatewatcher) but today we don't have EDR deploy.
- UI is not as unified as it could be (Custom UI for dashboards, Kibana for the hunting tab, etc) - Not automatically applying changes, and forcing the admin to go to a specific menu tab to do so.
Sometimes the amount of information can feel overwhelming at first, but once you get used to it, it becomes very powerful tool

We chose Gatewatcher because of their cybersecurity expertise in the Network Intrusion Detection Systems domain, and honestly it was a great choice. From the very beginning we had support to choose the best offer that was adapted to our specific needs (we use it to monitor critical aerospace infrastructure), and from there we had full support for the integration of the probes and the configuration and tuning of the appliance, adapting custom rules to our specific environment.
