What is Hitachi VSP E Series (Legacy)?

Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) E series is a family of enterprise-class data storage solutions for mission-critical, block-based application workloads. VSP storage portfolio ensures continuous access to data with 100% data availability. Virtual Storage Scale Out allows the clustering of up to 65 appliances to scale performance and capacity with common centralized management, including the ability to virtualize 3rd party arrays and extending the life of aging storage assets. Hitachi Ops Center management software suite is included for day-to-day data management operations. Hitachi Clear Sight provides AI analytics SaaS observability to monitor VSP systems via a cloud-based portal. All VSP storage solutions run Hitachi Storage Virtualization Operating System (SVOS) to provide advanced data services, data protection and cyber-resiliency with true symmetric, active-active controller designs. VSP E Series supports non-disruptive upgrades to our next generation storage architecture.

The most lokable aspect of the VSP E1090 it it;s balance of speed,reloability and flexibility-you get enterprise-class storage performance without the complexity or cost of top-tier systems.

It is extremely easy to manage

middle scale for most work so it is good solution

it's higher cost,complexity in advanced features and occasional support limitations

I really have no complaints, it does what they say it does and is easy to manage

i can not find anything
